Gaming Companies Why?

I understand why the gaming companies release a lot of their games this time of year, just in time for Christmas gifts. But, the problem for me is that there are too many great games that were released in the past few weeks. Not only has it hit me financially, but also I don't have enough time in the day to play all these awesome games. And trust me they are all awesome!! For me it started with Guitar Hero III, then I purchased Ace Combat with the Flight Stick. After blowing some serious dough on those 2 games I was convinced by friends to purchase Halo 3, which I was not planning on buying. Then came the 3 games that I have been waiting for all year, all of which are incredible games, and have my attention right now. Call of Duty 4 (Game of the Year IMO), Super Mario Galaxy, and Assassin's Creed. Trying to find a way to balancing playing each of these games is not easy at all.

Although it is easy to add up how much money was spent over the past several weeks on games, I really don't want to see the figure or even think about it. I have had the chance to play a significant amount of each of the games mentioned above and am going to give my opinion of each of them over the next several days. All I have to say is it is a really awesome time to be a gamer, just wish I had more time in my day to play. This year has to be the best year for gaming ever and the year isn't even over yet.
